This tax is paid for the property or possession by their legal owners. The tax for residential property varies from 0,2% – 0,4% – 0,6% depending on the property value.

For the foreigners to avoid the double taxation the amount of Latvian Income Tax can be reduced to that paid in the corresponding foreign country. Note!
